Why I Decided to Build AI Apps

Since I was young, my mom has worked tirelessly, sacrificing time with the family to build her business. This inspired me to find a way to help her and create more freedom. That's why I embarked on a journey to explore cutting-edge technologies like AI and blockchain.

Since young, my mom has always worked super hard

For the first 10 years of her business, she worked… 7am to 11pm (16 hours per day), 6 days a week. Her only rest day was Sunday. When I wake up she is already at work. When I go to sleep, she is not back yet. Maybe we would see each other only about 15 minutes a day.

In 2013, both my brother and my father left the family.

My older brother left the family when he was 21 years old. He wrote a letter to us and left it in his room and disappeared. For 2 years, we didn't even know if he was dead or alive. It was quite a big blow for my Dad. So because my brother left, my father also left the family to live his own life. That's why I became depressed when I was in poly. Cos my brother and my father left the family to live their own lives. A few years later, we found my brother as a buddhist monk in Thailand. In 2016, my sister left the family to become a Catholic nun in Spain. That leaves just my mom and I. But my mom was still very busy. She did a lot of health talks to LTA, MOE, NTU and other large organisations. Sometimes even at 10pm she's still doing roadshow or doing a delivery. Or answering her phone for all the questions people have about health. And my mom works so hard because she has a strong mission and calling that we don't have to depend on medication and hospitals. Instead, people can heal naturally by the power of their bodies. That's why I told myself, if only I can help my mom to build a business that can free up her time. I remember even during my NS passing out parade. I didn't even ask my mom to attend because I know she would be busy and I didn't want her to feel bad. I saw all my friends having their parents coming and taking pictures with their kids. And I was the only one who was alone.

My Mission to Help My Mom

A Depressing Time After my brother and father left the family, it was just my mom, my sister, and me. Seeing my mom work late into the night while I attended important events alone was tough. A Solo Journey In 2016, my sister became a Catholic nun, leaving only my mom and me. But even then, my mom's dedication to her business never wavered. I yearned to find a solution to free up her time. Discovering the Potential In 2021, I ventured to Silicon Valley and delved into AI, Blockchain, NFTs, and other cutting-edge technologies. The exposure to visionaries, programmers, and startup founders enlightened me on the transformative power of these innovations.

That's how I went to Silicon valley in 2021 for 1 whole month, and dived into AI, Blockchain, NFTs and all the latest cutting edge tech. Met Tim Draper a billionaire venture capitalist and pitched to him about my businesses. In the process I met a lot of programmers, CEOs, startup founders etc. And dived deep about AISo I have been building all this since 2021. It's been an awesome journey so far.

Flying to Israel to meet my partners and developers there

Meeting up with Israeli partners and Developers Israel boasts a thriving tech scene, often at the forefront of cutting-edge developments. Even our country's defense technology has Israeli roots. At the Embassy of Singapore in Tel Aviv During my visit to Israel, I had the opportunity to meet passionate tech enthusiasts, influential investors, and even connected with the Singapore embassy's representative. Sharing Insights By immersing myself in Israel's tech ecosystem, I gained valuable insights and expanded my knowledge base, further fueling my drive to create impactful AI apps.
